Mulholland Books, an imprint of Little, Brown and Company, was created in 2010
with a focus on crime novels, police procedurals and spy stories. The imprint is
inspired by the dark and winding Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, which is
shrouded in the mystery of crimes that litter its history.

In developing the logo, I wanted to bring dimension to the shapes, suggesting dark
corners and dramatic shadows, as if the winding road was lit by low car headlights.
